The Norwin High School Color Guard features complex movement and equipment choreography, as well as intricate design, contributing to and enhancing the Norwin Marching Band’s fall productions.
The Guard aids in the visual representation of thematic concepts, while demonstrating technical finesse, artistic expression and athletic demand.
The Norwin High School Winter Guard is made up of two performance ensembles – “Norwin A” and “Norwin World”. Both color guards initiate after the marching band season as stand-alone performance ensembles. Norwin also sponsors a middle school colorguard open to students in grades 5-8, and the "Little Knight" elementary guard for students in grades K-4.
These dedicated and highly trained groups perform locally in the Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association (TRWEA), as well as nationally in the Winter Guard International (WGI) circuit.
