Evan Brown is currently an active sound designer and consultant in the marching arts. Evan has served many marching ensembles across the US in various roles, currently including Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps, Matrix Performing Arts, Kiski Area HS, Norwin HS, Grapevine HS, Moon Area HS, and many others. He has previously held similar positions with Dartmouth HS, The Cadets, Oregon Crusaders, Cap City Percussion, Victor J. Andrew HS, OCindoor, The Glassmen, and many others. Evan also serves as the Assistant Director of Bands and Percussion Director at North Allegheny Senior High School in Wexford, PA, where he is heavily involved in the marching band, concert percussion ensemble, and indoor percussion ensemble. Evan holds a Bachelor of the Arts Degree in Music from Slippery Rock University, where he performed and participated in a wide variety of ensembles, focusing most specifically on drum set, studying under Dr. David Glover. Evan is a Remo artist and also serves on the management committee of the Three Rivers Winter Ensemble Association. During the day, Evan is the Education Product Specialist for Presonus Audio Electronics, a division of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.
