   Norwin Percussion

The Norwin Percussion Department contains 20+ members who are also members of the Norwin Band.  These students are involved with Marching Band, Concert Band, and Percussion Ensemble.  Our focus and goal of the Percussion Department is to create a "total" percussionist.  This involves having the students learn a wide gambit of percussion instruments instead of focusing on their main or primary instrument.

 

Congratulations to Josh D.  Josh placed 1st chair in the PMEA All-State Orchestra!

Fundraising Events and Activities

The Norwin Band has earned a national reputation of  "Excellence in Action."   Not only are the members of the Norwin Band instilled with the discipline it takes to maintain this reputation, but upholding this tradition requires a tremendous amount of funding to provide the necessary resources.
