NORWIN BAND STUDENTS EXCEL!!

 

Congratulations to:

 

  • All-State musicians!  (All-State Band) Louise Vranesevic-oboe, (All-State Orchestra) Drew Herchko-Trombone, Julia Ihrig-String Bass, and Josh Dick-Percussion
  • Winterguard for placing 5th at the WGI Dayton Regional Competition.
  • Drew Herchko and Jeff Giuliana for Making the BOA Honor Band
  • The Wind Ensemble and the Concert Band for their remarkable showing at the PMEA Large Ensemble Adjudication at West Allegheny in April.
  • Cary Cochenour and Nick Cirucci-they were named the 2008-2009 Drum Majors.

Fundraising Events and Activities

The Norwin Band has earned a national reputation of  "Excellence in Action."   Not only are the members of the Norwin Band instilled with the discipline it takes to maintain this reputation, but upholding this tradition requires a tremendous amount of funding to provide the necessary resources.
