Norwin Band Festival

Annual Band Festival held at Norwin is a PIMBA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Marching Band Association) competition.  The Norwin Band does not compete at its own festival, but performs in exhibition.

This year, the Norwin Band Aides will be presenting the 50th Annual Band Festival on Saturday, September 18, 2010. That date is just around the corner. Many NBA members, have been working on the event since last year. They have been out working the streets, trying to sell advertising for the program book and working out all of the details of the mammoth event that is the Band Festival.

There will be a series of meetings open to anyone who wishes to volunteer to help at the festival, or maybe take a committee lead position. There are many moving parts to festival day, and we all need to pitch in to make it a great success. The meetings will be in the right audion of the High School Auditorium at 7 pm. The dates will follow at a later date. Each meeting will go into deeper detail as we get closer to the date as to the expectations of each committee, and will provide status updates as to where we stand on the Festival.
