Coats and Notes
The Norwin Band Aides "Coats and Notes"
program supports our Norwin area community, and simultaneously fosters
the gift of music in its young children.
Band students and Band Aides will be
accepting clean, slightly used "Coats" to donate to those in need in
the community.
As for the "Notes," we're also accepting band
instruments, in fair or better shape, no longer being used that you
wish to donate to us.
The instruments will then be evaluated and used
for the band feeder program in the younger grades in the Norwin School
District.
After refurbishing usable instruments, they will be made
available for folks who can't afford to rent or buy instruments for
children who want to foster their gift of music.
Over 135 coats and about a score of
instruments have been contributed !
