Norwin Band Aides

The Norwin Band parents partner with Aramark to work the concession stands at Heinz Field and/or at the Pitt Football games.Aramark contributes a portion of the proceeds to the Norwin Band for each of the workers at each scheduled event. It's a great way to earn "big bucks" for your students account!

Volunteers must 18 years of age or older, and must have completed the Team Training Course in order to be able to work the cash registers.

Aramark is the company that is in charge of the concession stands at Heinz Stadium.

Our group has been given the opportunity to work at the Pitt/Steeler games to help with your students account.

Pitt games are $75 per game, Steeler games are either $75 or 8% of your stands earnings.

Tips are equally divided.

Must be 18 or older and have completed Serv/safe training (yearly) and/or Team Training
(every 3 years/Steeler games only).

Uniform consists of Khaki long pants, tennis shoes, black top. Smocks and hats provided.

We meet at the school and car pool down to the stadium.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends are invited to participate!

Must be able to stand for long hours. The days are about 10 hours long.
Although it is a long day, fun and many friendships occur.

For all who are interested in attending an Aramark Training Seminar:

I have just received the training schedule for the upcoming season. Remember, you only need to take this training class if you want to work the Steeler games.

Even if you will not be serving alcohol, you have to be trained. It is their policy. Review the dates and then email Danielle @ Mageras-Danielle@aramark.com with your name, group (Norwin Band) and the date you want to attend. Please email me when you are confirmed so I know you are training. It will also let me know if a car pool may be arranged. It is very easy and the parking if free! TEAM: Alcohol training which must be attended by all individuals working the Steeler Games. If any group would like a copy of their most recent TEAM list please let me know and I would be happy to forward to you. The training is good for three years.

Participants will most likely be able to park in Green Lot 21 which is located on Reedsdale Ave. If this lot is full, then parking can be found in the lots surrounding Heinz Field and there may be a fee. Please have everyone enter the building through Gate C (the game day entrance f or fans). If the gate is not open there is a buzzer that once pushed will alert security that someone is there. Once they enter Heinz Field there will be someone or directions to the training location.
